Kerryn McCann won the womens marathon on Sunday in sensational style after being shadowed by her opponent for most of the race, and losing the lead entering the stadium.
Unfortunately Channel 9 decided to show swimmers getting their tracky dacks off in the heats instead of showing most of the marathon, and we all missed out on watching the whole race.
However, the footage that we have seen should surely inspire us all!
